New Student Registration for PreK3–8th Grade
Registration Steps:
1. Please complete the online forms listed below.
- St. Mary's School Registration 2025–2026. This step will include the payment of your registration fees.
- Health Form 2025–2026
2. Register for FACTS Tuition Payments
FACTS is our online tuition payment system and is mandatory for all families. It is used for monthly tuition payments as well as all one-time incidental fees (Registration fees, PTO dues, Field Trip fees, After School or Before School care, etc.) and is the only form of payment accepted.
Even if you plan on paying in full OR attending on tuition assistance or scholarship, you still MUST register for FACTS to pay your registration fee.
Acceptance
The following requirements must be met before acceptance is final:
- Registration and Health Forms
- Social Security number (MUST be provided on your registration form)
- Signed Tuition Agreement, FACTS auto tuition payment account set up
- Interview of student and parents by the principal (you will be contacted after registration to schedule this)
- Current Alabama Certification of Immunization (COI)
- Original Birth Certificate with the state seal
- Transcripts from previous school
- Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic)
- Pastor Recommendation Letter (if Catholic)
- Copy of Individual Education Plan (IEP), copy of psychometric testing (if applicable)
- Copy of Custody Agreement (if parents are divorced)
Note 1: STUDENTS ENTERING KINDERGARTEN MUST BE 5 YEARS OLD ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 10 OF THE CURRENT REGISTRATION YEAR.
Note 2: STUDENTS ENTERING FIRST GRADE MUST BE 6 YEARS OLD ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 10 OF THE CURRENT REGISTRATION YEAR.
Entry Priority and Levels
Priority for admission of new families to St. Mary's Catholic School is as follows:
- Students currently enrolled in St. Mary's School
- Siblings of students currently enrolled in St. Mary's School
- St. Mary's Parishioners (Includes Kindergarten students)
- Catholics from parishes that have no schools, or Catholics from parishes with students who have special reasons and written approval of their pastor
- Non-Catholics
